STEP 1: HOW TO APPLY

Students can apply online after reviewing complete information about tuition fees, courses, and programs on the university website. After selecting your course, you must submit the following documents by email:

  1. Completed Online Application Form

  2. Copy of International Passport or ID Card (valid for at least 2 years)

  3. Copy of Higher Secondary School Certificate (with subject details)

After reviewing your documents, the university will notify you of acceptance or rejection. Once accepted, you will receive an Admission Confirmation Letter within one working day.

STEP 2: HOW TO GET INVITATION LETTER

 To obtain the official invitation letter from Astrakhan State Medical University, the following documents are required:

  1. Completed Online Application Form

  2. Copy of International Passport (valid for at least one year)

  3. Copy of School Certificate (with subject details)

  4. Payment for Invitation Letter: 500 USD

  5. Medical Insurance Fee: 300 USD

The total amount to receive the invitation letter is 800 USD.

These documents should be sent only after receiving the Admission Confirmation Letter. Documents can be sent by email or fax. Ensure that all scans are clear and readable.

Payments can be made via bank transfer, Western Union, or MoneyGram, and the payment receipt must be shared to confirm the transaction.

The invitation letter is issued by the Federal Migration Service of Russia and typically takes 15–25 days. After processing, the university will send the original invitation letter, admission confirmation letter, and visa support letter.

STEP 3: VISA

After receiving the invitation letter, students should apply for a student visa at the nearest Russian Embassy or Consulate in their country.

Visa requirements include:

  1. Completed Visa Application Form (can be filled online at http://visa.kdmid.ru)

  2. Original passport (valid for at least 2 years)

  3. Secondary school certificate (attested or with Apostille)

  4. HIV/AIDS test report (attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs)

  5. Official invitation letter issued by the Federal Migration Service of the Russian Federation

  6. 2 passport-size photos (3.5 x 4.5 cm)

Note: In some countries, the Russian Embassy may require additional legalization or other supporting documents. Please check with the Embassy in your country for the complete requirements.

STEP 4: ARRIVAL IN RUSSIA

Once the visa is issued, students must inform the university about their flight details, including date and arrival time.

One of the university representatives will receive the student at the airport. Failure to inform the university may result in deportation by Russian Immigration Authorities.

STEP 5: ADMISSION AND START OF CLASSES

Students must bring original documents and proof of full payment for the first-year tuition and accommodation fees.

Registration at the university must be completed within three working days of arrival. The International Office will assist students with admission formalities, registration, and visa extension. Classes typically begin 4–5 working days after arrival, once registration and formalities are completed.
