Merit-Based Admission System
Astrakhan State Medical University (ASMU) offers a merit-based admission system for international students. All students who have completed their secondary school certificate are eligible to apply. ASMU does not require any specific marks or grades for eligibility in undergraduate courses.
Undergraduate Programs
For Medicine (MD/MBBS), Pediatrics, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Nursing courses, students must have studied the following core sciences along with their other standard school subjects:
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
Medical Postgraduate & Clinical Residency
For PG / Clinical Residency Courses:
- MBBS / MD / BDS degree with transcripts
For Medical Ph.D / Doctorate Degree:
- MBBS / MD / BDS degree with transcripts
- Certificate of completion of Internship
- Certificate of completion of Residency or Postgraduate Medical Education
Masters and PhD Programs
For Masters in Public Health, Dentistry, Nursing, and related programs:
- 4-year Bachelor's degree with transcripts
- Higher secondary school certificate
For Ph.D / Doctorate Degrees in any field:
- Bachelor's degree with transcripts
- Master's degree in the related subject with transcripts
