Admission 2026-2027
All students who have completed their secondary school certificate are eligible for admission at Astrakhan State Medical University. We do not require any specific marks or grades for admission in any course.
REQUIREMENTS FOR UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS:
For Medicine, Pediatrics, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Veterinary Medicine Courses:
Students must have studied the following subjects at school along with other subjects:
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
We do not require any specific marks or grades in these subjects. Students with all passing grades are eligible for admission at Astrakhan State Medical University.
For Aeronautical, IT, Computer, and all other Engineering Courses:
Students must have studied the following subjects at school along with other subjects:
Mathematics
Physics
We do not require any specific marks or grades in these subjects. Students with all passing grades are eligible for admission at Astrakhan State Medical University.
For Economics, Arts & Culture, Agriculture, and all other Courses:
There are no specific subject requirements or minimum grades needed for admission. Only the secondary school certificate with any grades or subjects is required.
REQUIREMENTS FOR MEDICAL POSTGRADUATE / CLINICAL RESIDENCY PROGRAMS:
For PG / Clinical Residency courses, the following is required:
MBBS / MD / BDS degree with transcripts
For Medical Ph.D / Doctorate Degree, the following is required:
MBBS / MD / BDS degree with transcripts
Certificate of completion of Internship
Certificate of completion of Residency or Postgraduate Medical Education
REQUIREMENTS FOR MASTERS AND PHD PROGRAMS:
For Masters programs in Public Health, MBA, M.Phil, and all other Masters courses:
4-year Bachelor’s degree with transcripts
Higher secondary school certificate
For Ph.D / Doctorate Degrees in any field:
Bachelor’s degree with transcripts
Master’s degree in the related subject with transcripts
